Who writes this

Visitela grew out of a simple complaint: most explainers about research talk about science and skip the Tuesday-afternoon reality of getting to an appointment.

Our notes stay with the practical questions. How long does a visit take, how often are they, what might a person need to arrange, and what is worth asking.

What we do not do

There are no studies to join here, no sign-ups for research, and no medical advice. Your details stay with us and are not passed to sponsors, sites, or recruiters.

Visitela is published by The Nelson M Group LLC. It is an information website only. We do not schedule visits, run studies, recruit participants or give medical advice.

How the guides are made

We build each guide from general guidance, such as federal research-participation publications from the NIH and FDA and the plain-language guides large teaching hospitals publish, and the Visitela editors at The Nelson M Group LLC review it. The review month is printed on the guide, and we go back over all of them at least once a year.
